There are no cut-outs of story elements or events, as such, meaning that a player is able to jump in and out of the game as they so choose, adding their own voice to the storyline as they go along. The unique aspect about God of War is its unique open format, where everything is cut-out and left to the player's interpretation. Kratos once again heads off on a perilous mission through Greek mythology, taking up the role of God of War once more, and wreaking havoc upon his enemies once more. The waiting game now begins.God of War 3 is quite possibly the third installment in the series, which rocked the gaming industry. If its predecessor is anything to go by, though, God of War Ragnarök is pretty much a sure thing-it's a matter of when not if.

However, with Sony's in-house game studio, Playstation Studios, and its efforts in bringing its PS exclusives to other platforms, it's really only a matter of time before it arrives in the PC space. It will come out on November 9, 2022, but it will be exclusive to the PS4 and PS5 only. Now, just like its predecessor, this sequel will not be a Day One release on PCs. Together with Atreus' improved archery skills, a set of new skills and abilities provided by weapon runes, you will have access to a variety of ways to help you face enemies, creatures, and Norse gods throughout the realms. You can expect to wield Kratos' arsenal of weapons from his signature Leviathan Ax and Guardian Shield, and of course, the iconic Blades of Chaos. With God of War Ragnarök, the father-son Norse adventure continues as Atreus seeks answers to the Loki prophecy while Kratos continues to battle his past and inner demons to try to be a father to the boy.
The God of War reboot back in 2018 provided a touching and grounded tale, and that speaks volumes for a franchise that has predominantly occupied itself with violence and gore.
